What is a webring?

A webring is a group of websites centered around a common theme, linked together via a widget that circles through them.

These were popular in the 1990s - early 2000s, but have since faded into obscurity on the mainstream internet. There has been a revival of the concept on the indie web, particularly for websites hosted on Neocities and the Nekoweb. These days, the central theme for a webring is less restrictive in nature, and webrings are used as a replacement for a social network group.

What is this webring for?

This webring is for anyone who is a fan of any of the following TV shows:

• Band of Brothers
• The Pacific
• Generation Kill
• Masters of the Air

The fandoms for these shows are often closely associated with one another and were all produced by the same company, thus going by the colloquial name of the "HBO War" fandom.
